This unlocked episode features my full conversation with John “Dr. Teeth” Tucker. John is a legend in hip hop music videos and has continued to evolve his career into narrative film now. “Pas Honteux” is his first venture into the scene and it’s a memorable entre. In this full interview, we dive deeper into his time directing music videos and capturing an era and culture of southern hip-hop and how that helped him be a visual storyteller. We also dig deeper into Pas Honteux. If you’re a listener that's never heard of “Dr. Teeth”, go google him, catch up and enjoy. This unlocked episode features my full conversation with Erik Kristopher Myers! Erik, in my opinion, is changing the game in the found footage horror genre with his new film “Butterfly Kisses”. It’s currently on the Film Festival circuit and has been doing well with audiences. I honestly feel like if you haven’t seen the film, you should hold off on this episode until you have because we do discuss spoilers after the first portion that aired for radio. I only say this, because it’s best to see this film with fresh eyes. So I’m giving fair warning. However, for those of us who have seen it, this interview will be a real treat as you’ll get to hear from the man himself about the things that went into creating this film.

This weekend, Black Panther (my review is linked) is going to demolish the box office. I’ve been holding in my thoughts on the film since I saw it last Friday and I can’t wait to share them with you soon on air. Today’s show is front loaded with Black Panther to help you get pumped for seeing the film this weekend. I’ve got an interview with the film’s star, Chadwick Boseman. Then I talk with the legendary costume designer Ruth Carter who did the costumes for this film. We had a one on one conversation that was absolutely awesome. After my one on one with Ruth you’ll be able to hear the round table Q&A I sat in with Ruth and Producer of Black Panther, Nate Moore. Now, after you check out Black Panther in theaters this weekend, if you live in the DC area you may be interested in seeing The Rainbow Experiment at the DC Independent Film Festival.
