Picture Lock Radio: Ep. 114- Indie Grits & DC Web Fest
Happy Friday my peoples! Filmmakers, be sure to get your films in to the DC Black Film Festival as the regular deadline period ends on Sunday. Visit dcbff.org for more information!
Today on the show I’m talking with Seth Gadsden, director of the Indie Grits Festival. The fest, now in its 13th year is going on now in my hometown of Columbia, SC and they have a lot of stuff cooking you’ll want to know about. I also talk with director and founder of DC Web Fest, Otessa Ghadar. The fest hits the nation’s capital April 12th and 13th so you have a little time to get ready, but over the next couple of weeks I’ll be releasing interviews with some of the officially selected entrants of the festival. So I also have writer/producer and director/producer of Fake News Writer, Eric Pzena and Dani Hanks; writer/director/producer of Guess I’m a Ghost web series, Christopher Sullivan, and co-creator/director of Shangri-LA web series, Drew Rosas, all on today’s podcast!
Finally, Us hit theaters and destroyed records this past weekend. You can find my breakdown of the film at Youtube.com/picturelockshow for an in depth look at some of the things you may have missed, but I’ve got your answers to the Picture Lock question of the week about the film from last week!
