I talk with founder and director of the fest, Maori Holmes about what you can expect to see and do this weekend. The great part about it, is I have Melinda James, cinematographer of Oklahoma Is Black on this week as well. Her film will be playing at BlackStar as well as the DC Black Film festival, so we kill two pre-fest birds with one interview. Picture Lock Radio: Ep. 119- Avengers: Endgame w/ the Epic Film Guys

Happy Friday folks! Last weekend Avengers: Endgame hit theaters and I knew it would be awesome to talk about it with fellow film critics and film lovers The Epic Film Guys! So today I have a crossover episode that’s a whole lot longer than regular Picture Lock episodes, but true fans of the film will love it. The Epic Film Guys have their third annual Live Stream for the Cure coming up this month, so we’ll talk about that first and then get into Endgame. I gotta give a special shoutout to Nick Haskins who did most of the heavy lifting in editing this show! Now I keep the show pretty clean for radio and the podcast, but w/ this cross over I’ve edited the language for the radio edit but the podcast is so long I let it ride after the radio version.
