Picture Lock Radio: Ep. 69- Shadows in Mind, Unfractured, Duality, & Kynnstlah
This week I have a mixture of interviews with indie filmmakers doing their thing! I have writer/director of Shadows in Mind, Mark Schwab; Chanda Chevannes, director of Unfractured; Elle Jae Stewart, executive producer and star of Duality, and Sandra Bertalanffy, creator of the web series Kynnstlah.
If you live in the DC area you’ll be able to see Unfractured and Kynnstlah at the DC Environmental Festival and DC Web Fest respectively. So pay attention to those details in the interview.
Don't forget the 2018 DC Black Film Festival call for entries is now open! The festival will be held August 16-18 at the Miracle Theatre in Southeast Washington, DC. Filmmakers can submit through FilmFreeway. Visit dcbff.org for more details!

Picture Lock Unlocked: DCBFF Closing Night Panel
This is a special Picture Lock Unlocked episode. I’m releasing the audio from the DC Black Film Festival’s closing night panel entitled: Making Black Lives Matter Through Film. This was an awesome conversation between myself, cinematographer Hans Charles, attorney J Wyndal Gordon, director Pearl Gluck, and actor Elle Jae Stewart with questions from the audience as well. This is uncut as it happened and I hope you enjoy and keep the conversation going.
