James "Uncle Phil" Avery has Passed
Who didn't watch "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" as a kid in the 90s? James Avery played the role of the loveable Uncle Phil. Sadly, he passed yesterday at the age of 68. Read the CNN report here. Thanks for the laughs Mr. Avery. RIP!
Hot New Trailers for 2014
There are a few trailers that you may have missed recently, but that's what I'm here for. Check out these upcoming 2014 films that look pretty awesome!
After Caesar rose to power in the last film, the "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is on the horizon. After "Rise" and all of it's Caesar glory (the human story portion was totally inferior) I can't wait to see this one.
Johnny Depp looks like he'll redeem himself after the abysmal Lone Ran...let's just sweep that back under the rug of "I already forgot about that" films. This film "Transcendence" is an old theme, but looks pretty intriguing.
Put Liam Neeson in any action film these days and I'll check it out. Watch his latest at 40,000 feet in the air. "Non-Stop" looks like fun...nothing else.
"Jupiter Ascending" Trailer
From the siblings who brought us "The Matrix" trilogy comes their latest, "Jupiter Ascending". Channing Tatum aside, this looks very promising!
2013 WAFCA Awards Announced
The verdict is out on which films the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association members think are the best of 2013! I must say it's been an honor to be a part of the association this year and I think the winners will be spot on with other awards this season. 2013 has been a great year for movies!
