The "Her" Trailer scares me...and it's not a horror film!
In any romantic drama trailer there is an equation:
Person + hurt = Loner. Loner + New Love Interest = The Good Life (Coming out of their shell, laughing in the rain, running around smiling like a kid, love, new found strength..."go head mommy breathe again" as Diddy said.)
So the new "Her" trailer with Joaquin Phoenix is no different. The only problem is that the new love interest is artificial intelligence that seems to travel with him via phone, computer, tablet, fill in the blank technology. Now I love Joaquin Phoenix. I think he's a great actor. The supporting cast is pretty good as well. Yet, am I the only one that thinks a movie about falling in love with AI is a bit on the strange side?
Spike Jonez directing and Joaquin acting is a good combo. I'll try to be open minded and believe there's more to this film than the trailer lets on, but the celebration of a man falling in love with his computer is odd to me.

Just When Your Netflix Queue Got Boring...
If you're like me, you got rid of cable a while ago and use streaming products to catch up on TV/movies. May be you just can't get enough TV/movies and you have everything plus Netflix. Whichever category describes you, sometimes your queue gets a little boring. You've watched all the latest shows or new releases and you don't have your go to guilty pleasure because you finished it. Well, Netflix just released 'Breaking Bad' season 5 and 'Alphas' season 2. If I have to tell you what these shows are about (you've never heard of them) then even better for you...you have seasons to catch up on. Otherwise, I hope this spruces up your instant queue.

New Trailer 'Lone Survivor' looks AMAZING!
This trailer looks amazing! I mean it's an in the moment, hold your breath 'til our heroes get out of danger film. Those are the films I love. Yet, the fact that it's based on a true story makes it all the more intriguing.
Lone Survivor is a 2013 action drama war film written and directed
by Peter Berg. It is based on the real events and book "Lone Survivor:
The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10". It's scheduled for wide release January 10, 2014.
