Kevin Hart + Ice Cube= Hilarious

Universal Pictures has released the teaser trailer for Ride Along, which will be out on January 17, 2014 and I just laughed out loud two or three times just watching it. The film is directed by Tim Story (Think Like A Man) and stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart.

Synopsis: Fast-talking security guard Ben (Hart) joins his cop brother-in-law James (Cube) on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta in order to prove himself worthy of marrying Angela, James' sister.

From what I can tell, think Training Day meets Meet the Parents. Watch this trailer! I dare you to try not to laugh out loud.

When is it time to hang up the towel?

Really? Guys...I love you. I used to work out to the "Rocky IV" montage sequences as a kid, wear a bandana like Rambo, do the Schwarzenneger tricep workout plan in college, and so on. This is all 10 plus years ago...when these gentleman were it in Hollywood. They were never the best actors, but there was a time in Hollywood when the big buff guy could carry a film with no true acting talent necessary. Now that their looks have faded, and viewers are smarter...can they pull off a movie together in these times?  

 "Escape Plan" follows Sly Stallone's character Ray Breslin, a structural engineer who is wrongly convicted of a crime and incarcerated in a prison of his own design, but aided in his escape by his cellmate Swan Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger). Is this a spin off on the reality show "The Expendables"? Will anyone actually watch this in the theater and not at home? I dunno. Thoughts?
